Xbox 360 E. The first thing you have to do is to turn off the console and position it horizontally. On the right side of the console, you will find a hard drive cover. Open this cover as shown in picture 1. Pull the hard drive out and swap it with the new one – press it in firmly until you hear it click (see picture 2).
